About this guide

Tenino Cabins is an independent guide to staying in a cabin near Tenino, Washington, and to what is worth doing within about half an hour of it. It is written for people driving down from Seattle, Tacoma or Portland for two or three nights, who have already decided they want a cabin and are choosing between specific places.

The method is narrow on purpose. Every changeable figure here — a price, a tax rate, opening hours, a distance — comes from a source we can point you to, and carries the date we last checked it. Where sources disagree, or where a source does not publish something, the field is left blank and says so. We do not describe places we have not read up on, and we do not invent visits or opinions we have not had.
